No-Cost Needs Assessment


The Shared Value Group (SVG) is committed to non-profits and for profits. We understand the ongoing challenges, areas of opportunity and mechanisms for growth. We also understand how 990s and income statements never seem to be as healthy as we would like. As such, SVG offers an onsite, phone or video-based (depending on location) no-cost needs assessment, which is an analysis of four of the six major areas of potential transformation: economic, beneficial social formations, federal relations and technology. Each of our consultants asks key members of your staff a series of definitive questions that allows us to determine where you are and where you want, or need, to go to be successful. After our group analyzes this information, we provide recommendations on how to get there in a second onsite visit, or conference with plenty of question and answer time. And, all free of charge on your end.

Payment Programs & Karma


The Shared Value Group (SVG) understands that many smaller non-profit and for-profit businesses that could benefit from our assistance may have economic problems, such as cash flow constraints, or insufficient revenue to pay for our services. As former senior leaders in the non-profit, for profit and federal sectors, we know the enormous obstacles involved in moving to the next level, which often consist of not yet reaching an economies of scale required for growth and mission sustainment. Therefore, SVG offers options for discounts, good Karma and a great Partner Payment Program.

  • Regular Payment  is just that – a mutually agreed-upon, upfront payment followed by periodic payments based on project completion time. If you choose this option, you get an additional 10 percent discount. In addition, full, on-time payment automatically allows your organization to become a member of our Shared Value Network (SVN) at no cost. SVN is a group of non-profits, for profits and federal departments and agencies that work together to build capacity and get things done;
  • Partner Payment Program  also consists of a mutually agreed-upon, upfront payment, but the balance due is divided into 12 monthly installments to make payments easier. Full, on-time payment automatically allows your organization to become a member of our Shared Value Network (SVN) at no cost. SVN is a group of non-profits, for profits and federal departments and agencies that work together to build capacity and get things done;
  • Karma  provides an automatic 15 percent discount, and anyone who wants good karma can ask for it. The Shared Value Group provides 15 percent of its billable hours pro-bono in exchange for your organization’s commitment to provide the same number of hours in pro-bono support or services to one of our Shared Value Network members. It’s about people helping people and supporting our shared mission of doing good. One hour of pro bono work equals one Unit of Karma. Payback is measured in Units of Karma and a running total will appear on your invoice. All Units of Karma must be completed within 12 months, and you can help pick who your organization wants to pay it forward to.
